Hello Emilie. Yes I would be interested in an article with some images. Please look at the submissions page for info on how to submit. Please ask any questions. Thank you. – Adam Finkelston
Hi, A wonderful Magazine, I am an Egyptian Printmaker specialized in LDAP printing Techniques, I am very happy to see this great magazine, and I hope to take a picture with that great magazine and in the background our great pyramids, hope to see that photo on the website soon 🙂
I’ve looked at your call for work & info on your blog but i don’t see anything about terms & conditions. What happens if you select images? What use will you make of them besides publication in your magazine? Do you have rights to those images beyond an issue publication (as in the limited edition prints?) what about the exhibitions? If artists are selected for your magazine, does their work become included in the exhibition and what costs and obligations do artists have in reference to that( such as framing & shipping). I applaud your efforts to provide opportunities for artists to see new work and have their work disseminated in a quality publication but am hesitant to submit work without knowing what might become of it- especially since you request a high rez print quality file.
Hello Kay. Thanks for your question. If selected, we will use the image for the printed version of the magazine and possibly on social media, in which case we would use a low res image and site the artist as well as provide a link to the artist’s website. We will never use your image to make a print. Ever! We do not do exhibitions with every issue. That has been a unique event. If we were to do so, we would ask for the original piece or a print made by the artist. The high tea file will ONLY ever be used for reproduction in the magazine with full rights to the image reserved by the artist and full credit given to the artist. I hope this answers your question. If you have further questions you may want to send them to Adam at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am, however, not averse to a public discussion if you prefer that. Thanks again for your question.
Thank you for your fabulous publication. You hit my two loves, printmaking and photography. I LOVE this magazine and have told many people about it.
